Finally, the third week of our trip was a "luxury hike" through Fiordland National Park, with some of the best scenery of my life. "Luxury hike" means that each day, we'd hike around 10 miles to a lodge where we'd have hot showers, delicious meals, and a comfy bed, as opposed to the independent hikers who made do with packing their own ramen, pots, and sleeping gear.
